Terms of service
These terms are an agreement between you and Tomas Mikulenas (individual activity certificate No. 1269337), Lithuania ("Afterfill", "we"). By creating an account you accept them. Please read the part about trading risk carefully.
1. What Afterfill is
Afterfill is journaling and analytics software for traders. It reads your fills from platforms you connect, records the voice and text notes you choose to make, and uses AI to transcribe and organise them.
Afterfill does not provide investment advice, trading signals, recommendations or portfolio management, and it never places, changes or cancels orders. Statistics, tags, patterns and AI write-ups describe your own past activity. They are not a prediction and not a recommendation to buy or sell anything. You alone decide what to trade, and trading futures, forex, CFDs and crypto carries a high risk of losing money.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract.
- You sign in with an email code or Google. Keep access to your email and Google account secure; you are responsible for activity in your account.
- One person per account. Do not share access or resell the service.
3. Free trial, plans and payment
- New accounts get a 14-day free trial with no card. One trial per person.
- After the trial you can subscribe monthly or yearly at the prices shown on the pricing page. Plans renew automatically until cancelled.
- Orders are processed by our online reseller Paddle.com, who is the merchant of record for all orders. Paddle provides customer service inquiries and handles returns, and its buyer terms apply to the payment.
- We may change prices for future periods. We will tell you at least 30 days before a change affects you, and you can cancel before it does.
- If a trial or subscription ends, your journal stays readable and you can export or delete it; recording and editing need an active plan.
4. Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel any time from Plan & billing; access continues until the end of the paid period. Refunds are described on the refunds page. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
5. Your content
Your trades, notes, recordings and journal belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide Afterfill to you, as described in the privacy policy. AI processing is used only when you allow it. You can export or delete everything at any time.
6. Connections to trading platforms
You connect platforms with your own keys, add-ons or exports, and you are responsible for following those platforms' and your prop firm's rules. Connections are read-only on our side. Third-party platforms can change or stop their interfaces; when that happens a connection may stop working until we update it.
7. AI output
Transcripts, tags and write-ups are generated automatically and can be wrong. Each AI suggestion links to your own words so you can check it. Do not rely on them as the only record of your trading; your platform's statements are the official record.
8. Acceptable use
Do not misuse Afterfill: no attempts to access other users' data, overload or reverse-engineer the service, upload malicious files, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do, after warning you where reasonable.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep Afterfill available and your data safe, but the service is provided as it is, and there may be interruptions. We may improve or change features; if we remove something important you paid for, you can cancel and get a pro-rata refund for the unused period.
10. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for trading losses or for decisions you make, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. We do not exclude liability where that is not allowed by law, such as for intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
11. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Afterfill and delete your account at any time (Connections → Your data → Delete my data). We may end the agreement with 30 days' notice, or immediately for serious misuse. When an account is deleted, its data is removed as described in the privacy policy.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim there.
13. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app or by email at least 14 days before the change applies.
